One Month Birthday

So today’s the one month birthday of this blog. Woo-hoo. *throwing a party*

Okay, that’s all I can muster for something special.

Rambling

It’s been pretty quiet at work today. Fridays frequently are. I’ve had a few tasks to keep me occupied, but mostly I’ve been in here rambling on and on and on and on about politics and empathy. *pointing down* What a great combo.

Okay, so I’m in a rambling mood lately. Well, more than usual, anyway.

Movie

We did finally watch Mom’s last Netflix movie last night: Entrapment. Interesting movie. The twist at the end wasn’t exactly a shock, considering they had ya wondering who the hell was on who’s side during the entire movie. Neat gadgets and stuff… plus, Sean Connery will always be just plain sexy. I bet the man will be sexy on his deathbed.

Autumn

It’s beginning to cool down considerably outside. In fact, I was inspired to put on a jacket before driving to work this morning. Gotta love Autumn… my favorite season. Absolutely gorgeous, and relief from Summer. Ms. Pukesalot likes it too… she absolutely adores open windows (with a screen, of course) where she can not only see, but hear and smell passing felines strolling by, and more effectively freak out.

I’ve long maintained that if I ever get married, I want it to be in the Autumn, in a gorgeous glass church in the middle of a color-changing forest. There really is actually a church like this… I didn’t just pluck it out of a fantasy. I saw it years ago in a magazine about picturesque churches. It’s in a town called Eureka Springs in Arkansas… I guess the place has set itself up as wedding central… many different churches to choose from, and all the associated amenities.

Friday Night Shows

Amway, that’s about all I have for today. I’m written out from all that rambling. Tonight I’m watchin Joan of Arcadia and Medical Investigation… over the phone with Mom, of course. Our Friday night Sci Fi Shows already had their Summer Finales.

I’m sure I’ll have more to ramble about tomorrow. Until then... G’night.
