8 Minutes

This is how long I spent this morning trying to turn off my real alarm clock... in my dream.

I hate it when that happens. It's just realistic enough that I can't tell I'm dreaming, so it takes ages for me to realize I need to wake up... and only then after my dream self has yanked out all of the cords and batteries and logic dictates it should no longer be making this horrid noise. And even after I realize this, I'm STILL not really sure whether I've woken up or not, so I have no idea whether frantically punching every button on the clock for the gajillionth time will finally work...

I tell you, it does NOT make for the start of a good morning, which throws off your entire day... lol

Ah well... at least my workday is almost over... and I can hope to beat the thunderstorm forecast for this evening.
